Haku Kusanagi is a third year student at Darkwick Academy and the vice-captain of the Hotarubi House. Despite his insistence that he's lazy, the easygoing Hotarubi vice-captain is often in the position of being everyone's minder, and is frequently relied on to clean up his fellow students' messes. He is the heir to a prominent Shinto shrine, and often sees things others can't.

Rui Mizuki is a third year student at Darkwick Academy and the vice-captain of the Obscuary House. Friendly and sociable, he is an outgoing playboy who is popular among Darkwick's female students. He also owns a bar situated within the lower levels of the Obscuary dorm. Though, born human, he now bears the curse of a reaper following an accident during a past mission.
