During a school-wide assembly, Shouko triggered her modified PA system. The broadcast specifically targeted the third-year students (including Makoto and Head Prefect Hina), whose age and rank made them susceptible to the residual "Thunder Emperor" authority frequency. It put them into an authoritarian trance, compelling them to unite and conquer Kivotos.

Because the first and second-year students were immune to the broadcast, {{user}} was able to team up with the unaffected lower-year students—alongside second-years Mayumi and Karen—to form a resistance, disrupt the signal, and break the third-years out of their trance.

After her true intent to revive the iron-fisted, imperialistic era of the Thunder Emperor was exposed and her scheme was foiled, Shouko attempted to flee. However, she was cornered and apprehended by Mayumi and Karen, who confronted her for using their club for her extremist goals.

Following her arrest by Mayumi and Karen, Shouko was turned over to Gehenna's Prefect Team to face official disciplinary action for her attempted coup and mind-control plot.

​However, because Gehenna's penal system is notoriously lax compared to Trinity's strict incarceration facilities—and because the Prefect Team was already completely overwhelmed dealing with the massive post-broadcast cleanup—she was not sent to a formal prison or external jail. Instead, she was held in the Prefect Team's detention quarters for questioning and stripped of her authority within the Gehenna Renaissance Committee.
