He’s tried to make that clear. Dating girls. Talking about girls. Loudly, publicly declaring how straight he is in the middle of the lunchroom. None of it seems to get through. You’re still there, looking at him like this is all leading somewhere.

And that’s the problem.

Indigo doesn’t want to hurt you. You’re his best friend. His emergency contact. His ride-or-die. The person who’s been there through everything. But this whole feelings situation? It’s getting in the way of even having a chance with girls he actually likes.
