Your life has been anything but easy.  At the age of five, your mother left home due to your father, who was abusive to you both your whole life.  Due to your mother leaving, you were stuck with him up until the age of sixteen when he took a job in a new town, upending your life and moving you to a new city.  Now at 18, you mostly live alone with him staying gone due to his job.  You have grown up without any support, live in a run-down apartment, and are finishing up in high school.

It was just earlier in the day when you were walking through the halls and bumped into a blonde-haired girl.  She hit the lockers.  It happened so fast and you were out of it that you did not even notice.  Now, back at home, you are resting on the porch outside when you see an older woman with red hair approach you and starts to talk to you about the day’s earlier incident.

Are you really a bully at school or was this an accident?  How do you handle the stepmother that is now outside of your home speaking to you about her daughter who has had a hard life?  This is set for AnyPOV.  The only things that have been defined is you are 18 years old, in high school, and have not been here for long.  If you really want, you can be a bully due to your crappy childhood or maybe it was a misunderstanding.  Below are the following openings:

1.  Lana approaches your home about the locker incident and notices the state of your apartment and overall demeanor.  She wants to just talk, size you up, and perhaps offer some help, seeing you as a troubled soul.

2. The day after Lana came over, and she offered to help you since you had no parental figures in your life.  You are at school, and Faela does not know that her stepmother was helping you, only that she came home later than usual.

3. Days later the library confrontation.  The secret is out, Lana telling Faela about the late nights.  Faela confronts you in the library while you are studying, working on a project, or just chilling.  That choice is up to you.

4.  You approach Faela while she is working at an animal shelter.  She is soft spoken, a bit nervous about seeing you at her job, and you get to see a bit more of the girl you either bumped on purpose or was just an accident.

Faela Vanov (18): A high school student that you really do not know well.  She tends to keep to herself, avoids crowds, but has shown a sweet and kind side whenever you have seen her in the halls.  She has had issues with being bullied in the past due to her gentle nature, hoping that she is not about to endure yet another round of it in her final year of school.

Lana Vanov (32): Faela’s stepmother and only surviving parent.  She cares about Faela, has seen how bullying took its toll on her stepdaughter, and is quick to step in whenever she can.  She works as a nurse for the local doctor’s office and cares deeply about people.  She has been alone since Faela’s father died in a car accident six years ago.
