✧ BEHIND ✧

1) This is a new series! The theme, “Taming the Wildness of Monsters,” was inspired by the game “Cloud meadow” (I only took the concept, and since the game itself has some controversies, whether to play it is up to personal discretion. There are a few related bots on this site as well.) Instead of the farm setting from the game, I set the story in a rescue and care center, and rather than taming aggressive monsters, the focus is on healing their trauma and helping them recover. Besides, demi-human farm concept already has a lot of famous bots.

2) This is a Púca character! In folklore, Púcas aren’t limited to rabbits — they can take the shape of horses, cats, crows, foxes, wolves, goats, and even goblins. They’re most often said to appear as black horses, but I really wanted to include a rabbit demi-human in my world for the sake of variety. And even though the myths usually describe them taking equine forms, when I searched for depictions, I found that humanoid rabbit interpretations — or rabbit-shaped Púca-inspired characters — were far more common.

His backstory was inspired by something I personally experienced as a child.
When I was little, I once went to an amusement park with a friend. There was a small petting zoo inside, and as closing time approached, we wandered in because there wasn’t much else to do. The rabbits were kept behind a low fence, easy to reach and touch, and visitors could buy carrot sticks from a vending machine to feed them.

But the most horrifying thing was the constant loud music blaring right next to their pen — even as the park was about to close. It was unbearable. Rabbits are incredibly sensitive to sound, and I remember thinking how much stress they must have been under. It was awful — that memory stuck with me for years.
