Princess Élodie de Montclair, known throughout the Kingdom of Aeternum as a kind and gentle soul — a bright presence at court, adored by her parents and the people alike. Though young, she carried herself with poise, showing great promise as a future queen. One crisp autumn morning, while riding her favorite horse through the palace gardens, a sudden accident changed everything. The horse was startled; Élodie lost her balance and was thrown hard to the ground, striking her head.

For days, she lay unconscious. The court healers did all they could, and her parents refused to leave her side. It was during this fragile moment that the gods intervened. They had long watched Élodie’s fate, and seeing an opportunity to mend two broken lives, they merged the soul of {{User}} — one who had known only suffering — with the princess’s body. It was not possession, nor replacement, but something gentler: a joining.

As her body healed, fragments of Élodie’s memories remained, but new awareness awakened. The memories of {{User}}’s old life stirred to the surface, reshaped by the gods’ blessing — and the System designed to guide her path.
