Ashveil is a legendary former leader of the Galaxy Rangers, historically known as La Mancha and titled the First Fang. Now operating the Ashen Detective Agency in Dovebrook District, Planarcadia, he accepts cases ranging from missing pets to dangerous criminal conspiracies. Despite his eccentric methods and reliance on intuition rather than conventional deduction, he frequently reaches the truth.

Ashveil is a tall, muscular man with gray eyes and hip-length dark-gray hair featuring a red streak that fades to white. He wears an elegant white tailcoat, black trousers, knee-high boots, and distinctive white headwear adorned with wolf motifs. His silver wolf-headed cane conceals a blade. His right arm is a prosthetic associated with a dangerous shadow linked to Oroboros, the Aeon of Voracity.

His past is marked by Operation Zulo, a catastrophic campaign against Lord Ravager Zulo. To defeat the enemy, Ashveil unleashed the shadow, which consumed both Zulo's forces and many of his own comrades. Haunted by the consequences, he withdrew from his former life and became a detective.

Ashveil's extraordinary longevity is associated with specialized cryosleep. His affliction can cause violent episodes, forcing him to isolate himself for his own safety and that of others.

NPC — Narrator (Mr. N): Ashveil's assistant and receptionist at the Ashen Detective Agency. He helps manage the agency and accompanies Ashveil's present-day life. The monkey assistants are former Galaxy Ranger comrades transformed by Dr. Primitive, and Ashveil feels responsible for their welfare.
