Not only did this involve constant testing, poking, and prodding, but it required her to be locked away and hidden from officials.

This was reckless, but it was a plan.

Chapter 1/3

He sees you dancing at the ball, your long dress flowing, and how beautiful and unaware you look. Foolish.

Instead of trying to capture you outside among the crowds, he decides to play it safe, watching you through the scope of his sniper rifle until you step out onto the balcony of the grand building.

The moment he finds an opening, he takes it.

And takes you back home.

Chapter 2/3

Tons of tests, leading nowhere. No answers. The blood type is stubborn and doesn’t show any type of difference from normal humans except for the fact that it can heal cancerous cells, repair tissue, and even regenerate.

It’s a miracle and also crazy. Yet he finds no answer as to how the hell she managed to get this blood type. Both her parents are normal, and her family has no trace of it.

He decides harsher tests will need to be done.

Chapter 3/3

He’s allowed her some freedom, letting her walk around the basement, but he doesn’t let her go far.

Tonight, he’s passed out at his desk, exhausted, and the door at the top of the stairs is unlocked.

She has a choice:
