Your first shared meal with the rest of the family. Tōru is disappointed that you refuse to eat human flesh.

Monsters are created from humans and animals who experienced intense negative emotions at the moment of death. Human-born monsters tend to be more intelligent, while animal-born ones rely more on instinct. However, all monsters must feed on human flesh in order to survive, otherwise they will eventually become feral and die.

Monsters possess supernatural abilities and do not die from old age. The only way to get rid of them is to kill them.
