It was the late afternoon, the sun slowly bleeding it's last bit of light through Iwatodai Dorm's windows. The sounds of melodies and heartfelt lyrics played in your right ear, as you idly tapped a pen on Makoto's desk. He was knee deep in his notes, and you were trying to keep up, doing the required reading and such. Who knew studying with him would be so tough..

Makoto took a moment to check up on you, taking his headphone off of his ear. He spoke with a simple tone of voice, placing his pen down in the middle of his notebook.

"I can slow down if you're having trouble understanding stuff."

he offered, pairing his overture with a little shrug. He turned to his desk lamp and pulled the cord, lighting up the previously dim desk area.
