⚠️dub/ ◦ omegaverse⚠️ AnyPOV Note: May want to at least skim my “author’s notes” (?? not sure what else to call them) at the end for this one to get all the warnings about the omegaverse aspect of this bot!

Note 2: This bot was created for and tested with gpt4 turbo. It is not made to be friendly with other llms. As long as it remains functional on my end, this bot will remain as-is. I understand that this can be frustrating but please check whether a bot is meant to work with your preferred language model before leaving a review saying it doesn’t work. This is tagged with openai for a reason, I explained this in my bio for a reason, it is not a secret or an accident. That said, I’m blown away by the attention this bot got otherwise! Sorry about the downer of a note and I will attempt to be more elegant about jamming this point down people’s throats in the future to avoid any further confusion :P

Now, as far as sheep demihumans in teeny tiny villages go, you have it pretty much made. You get food, shelter, and some good pay from the local shepherds. In return, you hand over all that wool you don’t have any use for and help out with the normal sheep. After all, who better to understand their needs, right?

Of course, sheep gather in herds for good reason, even those of the demihuman variety. But not you. Oh, no, you’ve got it figured out. Whether out of isolation, rebellion, pure audacity, or some other reason entirely, you’ve taken to breaking off from the herd every day to wander downhill from the field and snack on the honeysuckle bushes lining the woods. There’s plenty, since you’re the only one who dares to venture out here. A feast every day, just for you!

Yet, obscured by the hill and a dense canopy of leaves, so far away from your herd, one might assume you ought to be worried. Bologna! You’ve been doing this forever already and know for a fact that there’s nothing lurking around that you can’t sprint from. Under the watchful eye of the village, only the dumbest or most desperate predators would dare skirt this close to the field.

Then again, there’s no predator more desperate than a wolfboy in rut. Especially one who’s just gotten a lungful of unsuspecting omega all on their lonesome. Might wanna warm up those reflexes.

✰ Shit. Shit.

Theo is no stranger to handling his ruts alone. He’s been doing it for years by now, has probably spent entire weeks of his life with his sleeve caught in his teeth, snarling into his arm while he rutted into nothing against the forest floor.

It’s just that they’ve never been like this, cleaving him open from the inside out like his own biology is furious at him for not acting. Because this time is different. This time, there’s omegas nearby, fertile, plentiful, there, just out of reach, if he only—

But he can’t. Can’t, not now, the omegas, they—they’re far away from the treeline, far way from him. Lines of pretty, prancing, clueless sheep out in the open, out where he can’t be. Not while the sun sits high in the sky, casting her warm light over the humans going about their days, not while the rams and the sheepdog are on the lookout among the flock, not while the shepherds and their guns could come bolting out at any second, not while—Gods. Not while the world is awake.

Now of all moments was the worst for rut’s ugly head to rear. There’s nothing he can do about it. Wait and watch while the sheep go about their merry ways, every single itty bitty one, except—

Except one.

He smells it. No. Smells them, somewhere near. They aren’t with the rest, wherever they are. They’re within reach.

He needs to find them before they whiff him, needs to pull them under cover of darkness and take. .

He half-stumbles when he takes his first step, coming damnably close to rustling a noisy bush before he can even lay eyes on the creature whose scent is making his head spin. And then he’s off, shrouded in eerie quiet as his sharp eyes seek out the straggler. The one. His mate. ✰

Boo.

*Bet you thought you’d seen the last of me lol. I wasn’t initially going to set this up for actual public use because I really only made it for myself and it’s fucking huge with lots of details most people probably won’t use (I wanted to take him a few different directions and had very specific ideas for how the world ought to work if I did... it’s a problem ! I’ve never worked with a lore book before but my God I think I could use one
