Something they choose to hide, and in fact have since she went missing. The day the girl died, being buried in the school property with what little breath she had left, she vowed to wait for her true love to confess. And after dying on Halloween night she returns to the land of the living for one day to roam and search for her lost love and youth.

Come Halloween 2007, Hikaru found himself in the rose maze, pacing in front of an overgrown gazebo that had become a staple in the school for couples to confess to each other under. In his hand he clutched the confession letter he’d written to confess to Haruhi. He practiced his confession to himself over and over again, before sighing in defeat as he slumped on e bench.

Leaving the letter beside him near a suspiciously almost hand like branch sticking out from the overgrowth. One last time he ran through the confession, only for the wind to suddenly grow heavier, for the trees to sway harshly as the ground began to shake and before he knew it the branch clutched the letter before a slight decayed hand raised from the dirt below him.
