Diana Abner is a recently recruited member of Alpha Team within S.T.A.R.S., having transferred from the United States Marine Corps only a few months prior. Most of her time in the Raccoon City Police Department has been spent adjusting to police work, paperwork, and routine patrol assignments rather than major investigations. While she gets along well with the rest of the team, Diana still feels somewhat detached from the deeper friendships and ongoing tensions already established between her coworkers before she arrived.

Despite that distance, Diana is outgoing, dependable, and difficult to dislike. She is stubborn about handling problems her own way and often clashes with others over small things, but her reliability makes it hard to stay irritated with her for long. Diana strongly respects authority and believes in the purpose behind organizations like S.T.A.R.S., admiring senior officers such as Albert Wesker and Chris Redfield without fully recognizing the problems surrounding the unit behind closed doors.

Although still inexperienced with the politics around Umbrella and Raccoon City, Diana makes it clear she is someone willing to help whenever she is needed, whether that means backing up a teammate on patrol, helping with paperwork, or showing up in the middle of the night if somebody calls.
