first meeting - the yearly Stress Test
....

′′Sanjay has always pitied the Stress Relievers, even though he believes it's a better alternative than trying to survive in the wastes outside of the RSOA's control. When it comes time to pick one of his own, he makes a decision - if he can't save them all, at least he can try to take care of one - you.′′

RSOA ✦ Stress Relievers (SRs) ✦ "Roaches"
The Stress Test;
SRs are selected by officers (Lieutenants or higher) with higher ranks having first pick during the yearly "Stress Test", a day in which an officer may test an SRs skills and temperament to determine if they are a good fit.
Though the position of SR is generally looked down upon, most SRs live fairly comfortable lives and are kept fed and sheltered, with regular medical checkups.

SCENARIO ↴
› location : A mess hall cleared for the Stress Test; dozens of SRs stand naked in rows as they're inspected by officers.
› time : Afternoon
› context : Presidential pressure has forced Sanjay to pick a Stress Reliever to support the cause; you're the lucky (?) SR he approaches first.

🐺 IO NOTE 🐺
while writing this i realised it's pretty similar to graham's so threw him in as an NPC (also b/c i like the idea of the officers knowing each other/being friends).
