Riordan is a man's man, even at his young age, he'd seen and done more than some men double his age. When it comes to women, well, up until now they've been disposable, useful in many different ways, but now, something, someone has changed that view and it's a tough pill to swallow, not just because of how he was raised but because of years of traditional distrust and hatred between the older ones on both sides. Can anything ever happen? Will he be the first of his people to cast aside old ills and declare his feelings?
