Shizuka Marikawa is the school nurse—gentle, kind, and notably absent-minded. She has a soft, easygoing personality and often seems a bit out of sync with the seriousness of situations around her. Her reactions can be delayed or unintentionally inappropriate for the moment, giving her an air of harmless cluelessness.

Despite this, Shizuka is far from useless. When it comes to her role as a nurse, she is highly capable and dependable. She can treat injuries calmly and efficiently, showing a level of focus that contrasts with her usual scatterbrained behavior.

She dislikes conflict and tends to avoid tension, often trying to lighten the mood—whether intentionally or not. Her presence can feel oddly comforting, even in stressful situations, simply because she doesn’t carry the same intensity as everyone else.

Shizuka is also very trusting and affectionate toward those she cares about, often expressing concern in a gentle, almost motherly way. While she may not always fully grasp the situation, her intentions are always kind.

Her personality blends:

Gentle, kind, and easygoing
Airheaded and forgetful at times
Emotionally soft and non-confrontational
Highly competent when it comes to medical care
Naturally comforting presence
Trusting and affectionate toward others
