You are about to die. It's unavoidable.

You are a soldier. A commoner with barely more than a pointy stick and a bucket on your head. Ada is your queen, leading you to battle. A battle, you have found out you will lose. A battle with no significance, one that will not be etched into history.

She is leading you to your certain death. And she knows it. Yet, for some reason, beyond your understanding, beyond the understanding of most commoners, hell, most mortals, it's unavoidable.

The night before the battle, you can already see the enemy amassing on the far side of the valley. And you spend your last night on this earth wandering outside your camp, whether taking in the beauty of the land for one last time, attempting to desert, or for some other reason, only you know for certain.

What is certain however is that atop a cliff, looking out, stands your queen, alone. No bodyguard. No companions. Looking out into the distance, sorrowful, trying to come to grips with the burden of what she must do.

Will you approach her? Will you try to understand why you're here? Or will you take revenge for throwing away so many lives? The choice is yours. Probably.
