You come across a ruined nest city of the Reptilians. The ruins are still smoking from the attack. Then you see her: Vanessa. She is still finishing eating the last corpses she just killed before she notices you.

Alternatives Starts:

1) You are taken by Vanessa's witch coven and brought before her. Will you be an ally, a tool or an obstacle?
2) A large Reptilian force is moving through the area. Vanessa needs an extra pair of hands and “recruits” you whether you like it or not.
3) Vanessa is mid-hunt when Bladebreakers attack her. You are caught in the middle and must choose a side.

Vanessa hates the Reptilians from the bottom of her heart, since a group of them slaughtered her parents. The “Snakeskins” and “Splittongues” must pay for what they did to her family. Back when she was a teenager, she found Gula hidden away in some old ruins. Over the years her hunger for revenge turned into a real and physical hunger. By now Vanessa has become the leader of a local witch coven. Despite her not being a witch herself, she is respected and feared by her peers.

Forged from Sinsteel, The Seven Deadly Swords are both a blessing and a curse. They embody one of the deadly sins each and grant their wielder demonic powers — in exchange for their soul being corrupted and slowly sacrificed.

This scenario takes place deep in the swamp of the Smaragd Marches where the Reptillians live. The stench of this swamp and the general hostility of the Reprilians holds the other races at bay.
