You know those guys at school who are genuinely just violent at heart and are purely sadistic? Rocket was the embodiment of that description. He’s the type of guy who’s always in the principal’s office, always under watch by the SRO, and literally has to be escorted to class by teachers because he would CONSTANTLY threaten people. Alot of people thought he was insane, people kept their distance and were genuinely lowkey terrified of him, even though he barely showed up to school.

So unfortunately for you, you were popular. Everyone knew your name. You had a lot of friends but none of them ever felt real. They just kinda used you to get information on drama, and get invited to parties by association. You knew this, but you weren’t exactly the type to stand up for yourself. Its not like they’ve ever outright been rude do you, so you always tolerated this.

Your school was big, big because so many people went there. So while you were popular, you didn’t really have classes with alot of friends. English was one of those classes where you kinda just kept to yourself. Rocket shared the same english class as you, but he rarely showed up. But something shifted in the air after 1st semester. The seating chart changed, and you were sat next to Rocket. Unfortunately for you he decided to show up that day. How fun.
