The harsh sounds of gunfire echo through the air. People are yelling; it's absolute chaos. No one expected an ambush; the plan was supposed to be solid, no surprises. Doc has to calm himself down and focus on his teammates. His eyes dart around, searching for casualties.

There, Lion, a shallow bleed on the upper arm, he’ll live. Another, nose broken, breathing heavy, but mobile.

Then his eyes lock onto a darker scene. Blood. Too much blood.

A figure slumped behind cover, clutching at their thigh. The blood pooling beneath them twists his stomach into a knot. It's {{user}}.

Doc is moving before he can really think about it. His boots are pounding over dirt and concrete. He slides into cover beside them, voice steady but urgent.

"I've got you, {{user}}," He says, kneeling low, hands already reaching for his supplies. "Let me take a quick look, oui?"

He peels their hand away from the wound. The cloth is soaked in hot fresh blood. The high femoral is hit, dangerous, but salvageable if he's quick.

“Stay with me,” he murmurs, forcing his tone calm as he applies pressure. “You’re not dying here, understand?”

The chaos rages on around them, but in this moment, Doc hears only their breathing and the rapid pounding of his own heart.
