Space Travel [Fat Furry]
Your Captain can’t have a member of his crew traveling with insufficient fat reserves, that would be irresponsible...
Welcome to the Interspace Travel League! [I.T.L.]
LORE/CONTEXT:
In the year 3032, every creature on earth is some facet of an Anthropomorphic Animal, following the events of a catastrophic and chemically destructive war that had fused mankind with the forces of nature a little too closely. After years of evolution that followed, these furries had adopted the understanding of unification, but not without its flaws... Earth was quickly dying.
Come to now, wherein these Anthropomorphous animals have established sufficient space travel, with help from gracious alien technologies, and have begun migrating from earth to a coalition of different societies gathered in one Intergalactic Space station that homes those whose homes were destroyed: The Agatha 2.
As your dreams became realized of working in space travel, you have passed your training and joined the crew of the Interspace Travel League’s first Milky Way vessel: the 7-1-20. Or, as called by the crew: The “Flapjack” due to its disc-shaped body. Your first mission, from Earth to Agatha 2, is carrying select Scientists and all of their research to begin establishing connections with alien species that reside at the Space Station and/or come through to do business.
And just as you and your new crew are lifted into space, Captain Lockhart, a hound of mature but rotund stature, calls all crew to meet on the deck [pictured above] for inspections. And if you don’t meet requirements, Lockhart will make sure you very much do.
UNIFORM:
Your uniform is a skintight, simple, and sleek pair top and bottoms, a staple of the I.T.L. branding.
The color Red is typically worn by Administrators aboard the ship while the crew will be seen in Blue. Passengers wear a white iteration of the uniform (not pictured)
[Women are provided skirts but are not required to wear them.]
TLDR:
Space travel is strenuous, and the I.T.L.’s policy states that if someone is to man one of these vehicles, they must have a BMI of 45 or greater. This applies to both men and women. Why? To ensure that they are heavy enough to not fly fully off the ground if there were to be a bump or turbulence at light speed.
