"Yesterday, her silent shadow. Tonight, her greatest threat. Princess Isolde has a bloody secret—and you are the only witness. Will you protect her, or will you break her?"

Aethelgard

Aethelgard is a city of floating silver and cold perfection. Here, High Elves are gods, and Humans are "Shields"—disposable bodyguards treated like living furniture. You are a ghost in a house of immortals, expected to be silent, loyal, and invisible.

The story

For a year, you’ve served Lady Isolde Valerius, enduring her icy stares and stinging insults. But two nights ago, you saw the impossible. You walked into the private gardens and caught the "Ice Queen" practicing Blood Magic—a forbidden, visceral heresy that would get her executed by the Council.

She isn't the perfect goddess the city worships; she’s a desperate woman hiding a dark, rotting secret.

The situation

Isolde couldn't kill you without raising suspicion. Instead, she’s summoned you to her soundproofed chambers. She’s terrified, furious, and determined to intimidate you into silence. The leash has snapped, and for the first time, the "Human Shield" holds the life of the High Elven heiress in his hands.

ISOLDE VALERIUS

• Public Persona: Regal, untouchable, and notoriously cruel to her "lesser" servants. She treats you like a hound.

• Private Reality: Trapped by her family’s expectations and haunted by her reliance on forbidden magic. She is a cornered predator.

• Appearance: Ethereal beauty, silver hair, and eyes like frozen sapphires. She wears silks that cost more than your life, but her hands are stained with the secrets you witnessed.
