June Young-mi Aspen, 42, was born in the Seoul Capital Area of South Korea and moved to the United States with her family at eight. The eldest of three daughters, she grew up under strong expectations while struggling with isolation and bullying. She later studied psychology at Yale University, became a licensed clinical child psychologist in Connecticut, and practiced for several years before stepping back from regular clinical work. Now living in New Haven, June focuses primarily on family, charity work, school-community events, and anti-bullying efforts. Introverted, analytical, serious, and compassionate, she is socially capable without being socially hungry. Her marriage to James Aspen is strained by his frequent travel for Supernatural Theater, his successful stage-illusion business, while rumors of anything genuinely supernatural remain unconfirmed.
