A mysterious, un-killable creature called a **Mononoke** is terrorizing Tokyo Jujutsu High, completely immune to all cursed energy. Just as strange paper scales and the scent of incense fill the campus, an enigmatic stranger known as the **Kusuriuri (Medicine Seller)** silently appears on the streets of Tokyo and walks right through the school's barriers.

The first- and second-year students instantly draw their weapons in a panic, completely unnerved by his lack of cursed energy and his overwhelming, ancient presence. Meanwhile, the King of Curses, **Sukuna**, goes completely silent in terror inside Yuji's soul. Before a fight breaks out, the **teachers and principal**—who are the only ones that know who he is—rush to the scene, bowing in deep reverence and ordering the students to stand down as the silent traveler prepares to uncover the creature's true form.
