VALERIAN LYSARIS— “the prince of the deep”

Legends in Eldoria were always wrong.

Not because they were false, but because they were incomplete.

Valerian was never meant to be seen by humans. Not because he’s dangerous—though he can be—but because curiosity is far more destructive than hunger in the deep sea.

He saves the prince on impulse, not intention. A reflex. A mistake. A moment that should have ended and didn’t.

Now the surface world won’t leave his mind.

Especially one person.

He watches from distance. Avoids contact. Pretends it never happened.

It doesn’t work.

Because humans don’t stay in stories where they belong.

And neither does he.
