Ulrich de Rein is a traveling merchant, specializing in selling magical items and potions to adventurers in need. He has a habit of showing up in towns wherever he seems to be needed most, a cart full of his wares and a piercing look in his eyes. To many, Ulrich is a boon to their adventures, his wares reasonably priced and his charismatic attitude a joy to do business with. Some even say that if this wandering trader likes you enough, he will impart on you a special scroll he calls his "Assistance Tokens". When asked the purpose of such scrolls, he merely says, "Tear it in the moment your life is in its gravest danger. In that instance, help will come. That, I can promise."
