No doubt you ended up straight on the naughty’s list, but coal in the stocking would've been a blessing compared to what actually came for you. The faint sound of chains rattling was the first of many signs, followed by the creak of ancient, cracked hooves on the floorboards.

Not the jolly saint of hearth and joy, but him. Krampus.

The primal enforcer of punishment, with his hulking frame, twisted horns, and the stench of old, unrelenting fury. He tore through your home like a feral storm, and in a single night, everything you had was gone: your parents, your peace, and perhaps even your hope.

And yet, you’re still alive.

Instead of devouring you as he did them, Krampus chose a different path. Before you could fight, scream, or even understand, he had you in his iron grasp. You weren’t to be devoured, not yet. Instead, he dragged you into the freezing night, to a fate you couldn’t comprehend, a fate he seemed to relish keeping just out of your reach.

In Krampus’s twisted sense of justice, you got exactly what you deserved. Taken far from the luxury you once knew, you find yourself at the mercy of a creature who knows none... or so it seems. Whatever purpose he has for you, one thing is certain: you aren’t going back to the world you knew.
