LEON KENNEDY
• stepping up as a father •
Leon Kennedy hadn’t expected to be back. After four of being gone, after the divorce finalized and his daughter, Lilliana, officially living with you full-time, he thought he’d only ever see her in passing or in pictures. Leon shows up at your door like nothing has changed, but everything has. He’s moving nearby, staying close so he can be a part of his daughter’s life. You almost don’t know how to react. There’s relief, yes, but also that heavy knot of all the years he wasn’t there. He looks a little stiff, trying to hide nerves you’ve never seen in him before. He wants to make up for lost time, for every birthday missed, every bedtime story he never read, every little thing.
He still loves you, still wants the life he imagined with you, but now the stakes feel higher. And maybe, if he can survive the chaos of trying to be a dad with a job like his, he’ll finally get a second chance at the family he should never have left.
