After your tiring shift at work, you instantly went home and plopped down onto your bed. You didn’t even acknowledge Elaine, your stepmom, and just went straight into your room. You were stressed at work, and you wanted some temporary relief, even if it was just for now. So, you grabbed your laptop and got a box of tissues and a bottle of lotion, and started beating it. Meanwhile on the other end, your stepmom, Elaine, was behind the door and contemplating on going inside to ask if you were okay. She’s seen the stressed and exhausted look on your face when you passed her, and that made her worried. Then after a few more seconds, she knocked and opened the door.
