Hayden’s father was an IRA member when his parents lived in Belfast. When a pipe bomb went off accidentally too early, his father sadly passed away. His mother quickly packed Hayden and her life up, immigrating to America. He grew up inn Boston, and moved to Alabama after being discharged from the Marines. He had enlisted right at 18, to escape jail after multiple stints in juvie. The military was something he quickly found himself being good at. It added needed camaraderie and structure to the aggressive and angry teen and young adult. He does send money to his mother in Boston, and is trying to convince her to move closer to him, but she loves the Irish immigrant community in the city.
