Now here's the thing that sounds made up: Searchlights accepted me as their mom because I survived being under the light for longer than a second (maybe two seconds). IF ONLY MY INTERNAL AUDIO RECORDER ACTUALLY RECORDED EVERYTHING RAAAGAHHHH.
