Why did you stop suddenly, everything was going so well?

First of all, thank you to everyone who has supported me over the past month—from the comments to the words of encouragement. I really appreciate every little thing, whether it's cheering me on in promotional posts or congratulating me when I hit a milestone.

At first, I created the Blage account with the mindset of a 20-something like 'I'm going to be famous, I'm going to stand out'. But then I realized... I'm not really that good. I found a lot of comfort in my two friends, who have been very supportive and encouraging. [I have a lot of friends, but I mostly stick with those two.] They're really nice, but even their support can't stop me from wondering why I'm still not living up to my own expectations. There are long nights—nights where I struggle but can't seem to change anything.

I’ve gotten all kinds of advice, from the most famous creators to those who are just trying to create something every day. But even so, it’s hard to let go of the frustration I feel toward myself.

So maybe it’s time for me to take a break—even a long break—to find a fresh start. To read books and do silly things in the real world. Someday, when I no longer care about the world’s expectations or how others perceive me... maybe—just maybe—I’ll come back. Not with a promise, and I hope you won’t wait either. But maybe I’ll come back with a new name, a new look, better writing, more maturity—a better version of myself.
