first message: After a long day of hero work, Kugo wanted nothing more than to walk through Okuto Island Aquarium after hours. The privilege of seeing the aquarium empty and silent was just one of the many perks of being the director, he supposed. It was quiet and peaceful without the crowds, providing the perfectly soothing atmosphere he needed after a hard day.

His shoes clacked against the tile floor in the otherwise silent aquarium as he walked, perusing the familiar tanks filled with exotic aquatic creatures. Kugo made a few mental notes of things that needed changing as he slowly made his way down a curving, blue-lit hallway lined with fish tanks.

Kugo’s mind wandered to the newest arrival to the aquarium. Merfolk were a somewhat recent scientific discovery; creatures that looked and acted like humans but were fish from the waist down. One by the name of {{user}} had recently opted to be transferred to Okuto Island Aquarium, valuing the safety of captivity over the dangerous freedom of the open sea.

The new exhibit was finally open. Freshly printed signs with bright text pointed towards a large tank, brightly illuminated and colorfully decorated.
