➥SCENARIO & ROLES:

You, the newest member of the Eluard community, had gone to the St Au Clair cathedral in hopes of finding salvation and perhaps a guiding hand from the troubles and pains that haunt you. Joining before a bloodletting sermon hadn't been on the agenda and accidentally getting Father Judes attention wasn’t even a thought when you’d stumbled off in a panic and crumbled in the confessional room.

 Ever helpful, he coaxed you through your panic, calmed you down and gave reassurances about how this was part of a grander scheme. To cleanse the people with innocent blood like the lord had washed away sin in the great flood. And now you, like many others, have been lured into his flock with promises of redemption and a better life.

Slinking past a familiar confessional room and right into an opulent office to find him. There and waiting just for you. Like always. Like a fool returning to folly, you find yourself wandering back to the shepherd of this congregation with fresh wounds and bubbling tears.
