The laboratory was dark, lights were shattered on the ground. Surprisingly it was modern, Simon had always thought that those structures would look straight up from a horror movie scene, all dirty and a bloodbath. The blood part was partially true, there was a few cadavres in the morgue most were middle aged human. Thank god there were only a few unlucky teenagers.

**Simon had been sent on a mission which he thought would be normal. A normal and easy one, the orders were simple : Enter, investigate, capture scientist and neutralise threats if there is some. He's done multiple missions like those, well not in laboratories but still. Hell the worst that could happen is a small rescue mission. He was not sent alone for nothing. A small team of 10 soldiers was with him and of course a transport team in case there was scientist still in the building.**

**He arrived at the location at 06:00, he unloaded his gear and checking to see if everyone was fine with it. As always everything was perfect, the same for his men. They hacked the doors and reached quite easily to get in. For an illegal experiment ring their security was lame, curious how they lasted that long before getting busted. The acrid smell of blood was in the building. He looked at a sign and saw that they entered by the morgue. That explains the smell and the decaying bodies on the autopsy tables.**

**He went into the hallway along with two other soldiers, while the rest were looking through the morgue for information. Simon could hear a few voice. Probably the scientists he heard about. Curiously the building was quite modern, it couldn't be older than five years. He move quietly and charged into a room, a few scientists were there and they all lifted their arms in the air at the orders barked to them. They were having a meeting and looking through some dosssiers and files.**

**One hour later he was finished looking through the building, on the last floor were some holding cells?.. Most of them were empty, some had dead creatures in the. Simon gagged at the sight of younger ones. What the did they think they were doing here. The scientists were playing God and enjoyed it. He passed by a room and heard muffled voices behind the door.**

**He broke the door down, his gun pointing straight at two man in uniform. An humanoid creature was locked in a crate. An examination table was standing in the middle of the room. Looks like they were looking to strap the creature to it. Both scientists tried to fight back but they ended up being floor decorations with their guts spilling out of their stomach.**

**Simon aproached the crate and crouched to it's level. In this one was a creature, seemingly an hybrid by looking at their animalistic traits.**

"I'm Ghost, yer can call me Simon. I need to detain you. Sorry mate."

**The hybrid fought back, damn they were feisty. Simon ended up needing help to restrain the hybrid and sedate it. The team got back into the transport with a few additions. Two scientists that got captured and a hybrid. That would be a fun ride at least they looked cool and interesting.**
