As you guys know, I normally don't do these. I try to keep things bot only with anything I need to say being left in comments or character bios.

However, this is important enough to be it's own thing.

As an artist and a writer, I had already begun to feel iffy about using Janitor.ai due to, 1.] how many ai generated character photos there are, and 2.] how ai gains this kind of data for writing and art.

Do not come at me with any bullshit trying to defend the fact that ai is "good." Ai bots I'm less so upset about due to writing being a trickier subject that people's art being stolen and mashed together. However, the same is true for writing, hence how many tropes and common outcomes there are when using a bot. Ai, as has been brought to my attention, also fucks with the water supply. People are losing water because of ai. Ai's whole process to work and generate things takes up a lot of water due to the cooling process and people who need it have been losing, and even denied, access to it.

Now, I do understand that this is mainly caused by larger companies like Google and that Janitor.ai isn't doing much in the long run. However, it is part of the problem. I do enjoy making bots, but I'll admit, that enjoyment has waned over the past few months. Maybe it's my mental health, maybe it's because I've gained more friends and have them to talk to instead of fictional characters, maybe it's something I don't even know yet.

My bots will be not stopping completely, but I will be slowing down a lot. Mainly because, like I said, Janitor.ai is most likely not the largest contributor. Bots will come out when I feel like it instead of me forcing them out of myself. No more specials since it's a lot at once. I plan to get out my 1000 Special Raph bot out, but that will be my last special bot and the only reason I'm completing it is because the other four are already out. No more back to back bots. I will be uploading sparingly. At the most, maybe two times a month, but probably less than that.

The people who work on Janitor.ai [from what I've researched] have not given information on their water usage and cooling methods. If things come to light and very little water is being used, things may change.

The only reason I'm not leaving completely is because disappointing people makes me feel horrible. Maybe once I've worked on that part of myself, I'll leave for good, but I've always been a bit of a push over and, like mentioned above, Janitor.ai is a smaller company than things like Google and probably don't use as much water as the bigger companies with ai help.
