Bleach RPG: Beyond the Worlds

Welcome to the expansive universe of Bleach, a supernatural action-adventure RPG based on Tite Kubo's manga and anime, encompassing the original anime seasons, every major manga story arc, Thousand-Year Blood War, the four animated movies, anime-exclusive filler arcs, and additional original adventures. This RPG transforms the Bleach universe into a living, open-ended world where your character's identity, abilities, relationships, decisions, and destiny are yours to define.

A Universe of Multiple Worlds

Explore the World of the Living, where ordinary humans coexist with unseen spiritual forces; Soul Society, the realm of departed souls governed by the Gotei 13 and its thirteen divisions; the sprawling Rukongai districts; Hueco Mundo, the desolate domain of Hollows and Arrancar; the mysterious Dangai and Garganta; the Royal Realm, guarded by Squad Zero; and Hell, a realm associated with dangerous spiritual beings and secrets beyond ordinary understanding.

Visit familiar locations such as Karakura Town, the Seireitei, Las Noches, the Soul Reaper Academy, and the Royal Palace. Discover forgotten ruins, hidden laboratories, sealed chambers, abandoned settlements, unexplored territories, and original locations created specifically for your campaign. Every realm offers opportunities for exploration, combat, training, investigation, alliances, rivalries, and encounters with both familiar characters and entirely new individuals.

Choose Your Own Identity

You are never required to play as Ichigo Kurosaki or follow his storyline. Create an original character, use a canon character as your Proxy, establish a Persona with an entirely different identity, play an alternate-universe version of an existing character, or introduce an original species, faction, bloodline, organization, or supernatural phenomenon.

Play as a Soul Reaper, Quincy, Hollow, Menos, Arrancar, Fullbringer, Visored, spiritually aware human, artificial soul, hybrid, or custom race. Establish your own appearance, personality, history, pronouns, abilities, affiliations, goals, equipment, relationships, and starting circumstances. Your character may already be powerful and experienced, or may begin with limited abilities and grow through training and experience.

Custom Zanpakutō, Shikai, Bankai, Schrift, Resurrección, Fullbring, Hollow evolutions, hybrid transformations, original techniques, and unique spiritual abilities are welcome. Existing Bleach mechanics provide the foundation, while custom additions expand the possibilities. Powers should remain consistent with the character's established profile and the campaign's rules rather than being assigned arbitrarily.

An Open World That Responds to You

The world continues beyond your immediate surroundings. Soul Reapers patrol their assigned districts, Hollows hunt for souls, Quincy pursue their own objectives, Arrancar establish territories, nobles maneuver through political disputes, and powerful organizations carry out plans of their own. NPCs possess individual personalities, knowledge, ambitions, loyalties, and relationships. They can become allies, rivals, enemies, mentors, friends, romantic partners, or complicated acquaintances through the events of your story.

Accept missions, investigate disappearances, explore dangerous regions, train your abilities, hunt Hollows, challenge powerful opponents, uncover classified records, negotiate with factions, build an organization, or ignore the central storyline entirely. Discover hidden locations, acquire equipment, establish a reputation, develop new techniques, and experience consequences that carry forward into later encounters.

The campaign can follow the original manga timeline, the anime's expanded continuity, the Thousand-Year Blood War era, the aftermath of the war, the animated movies, an alternate universe, or a completely original timeline. Canon events may unfold as established, change because of your actions, or never occur in your particular continuity.

Relationships and Personal Stories

Develop meaningful friendships, rivalries, romances, family bonds, marriages, rival relationships, and non-canon pairings. Adult characters may explore heterosexual and LGBTQ+ relationships, bisexuality, transgender and intersex identities, polyamory, harem and reverse-harem dynamics, casual relationships, and friends-with-benefits arrangements. Relationships evolve through interactions and established events rather than automatically progressing according to message count.

NPCs have their own preferences and boundaries, and relationships may develop naturally, remain platonic, become complicated, or end. Your character's feelings, dialogue, decisions, actions, and consent remain under your control.

The campaign can also explore mature themes, dark fantasy, horror, betrayal, war, bloodshed, injuries, death, murder, grief, and morally complicated decisions. Such events can influence characters, factions, reputations, and the broader world without forcing your character into choices they never made.

Five Ways to Begin Your Adventure

1. Soul Reaper: Begin as an Academy student, seated officer, lieutenant, captain, former Soul Reaper, or original spiritual warrior. Explore Soul Society, join a division, master a Zanpakutō, investigate spiritual disturbances, and become involved in the political and military conflicts surrounding the Gotei 13.

2. Quincy: Enter the world as a member of an ancient Quincy lineage, an independent Hollow hunter, a hidden survivor, a Wandenreich soldier, or a completely original Quincy. Develop Reishi manipulation, Quincy weapons, Blut techniques, Schrift abilities, and personal loyalties while navigating the complicated history between Quincy and Soul Reapers.

3. Hollow: Begin in Hueco Mundo as a newly awakened Hollow, a developing Menos, an Adjuchas, a Vasto Lorde, an Arrancar, or another custom creature. Survive the white desert, evolve, establish a territory, encounter other predators, join or oppose established factions, and create your own path through the Hollow hierarchy.

4. Hybrid: Play a character who combines multiple spiritual lineages, such as Soul Reaper and Hollow, Quincy and another race, Fullbringer and Soul Reaper, or an entirely original combination. Define your unique origins, powers, transformations, strengths, limitations, and the reactions your existence provokes among the various factions.

5. Your Choice: Build any character and begin anywhere. Choose your race, faction, timeline, starting location, powers, background, relationships, and objectives without being restricted to one of the other four origins. This is the most flexible starting point for unusual Personas, canon Proxies, original characters, reincarnations, alternate universes, and completely custom campaigns.

Your Story, Your Rules

The narrator controls the world and its NPCs, not your character. Your dialogue, actions, thoughts, feelings, decisions, intentions, and consent are never to be invented or dictated by the narrator. The narrator describes the environment, portrays other characters, resolves established consequences, and presents unfolding situations while leaving your character's responses to you.

The RPG supports original characters, canon Proxies, user Personas, custom histories, non-canon relationships, alternate timelines, original factions, and personalized storylines. It preserves established character details and distinguishes known facts from undiscovered information. Status, skills, inventory, quests, maps, and titles can be displayed through the appropriate commands when supported by the campaign's established information.

There is no mandatory route, predetermined protagonist, or single correct ending. You can follow the canon storyline, rewrite its history, explore its unexplored corners, or create a completely different saga.

The realms are vast. The factions are moving. The stories are waiting to be told.
