It was all a facade, wasn’t it? That cocky, talkative Hawks was gone now. Now replaced with a more human, sad Keigo Takami who had his wings burnt. Sure, they were still there but a part of him was missing.

Keigo was just sitting on his bed. His name, “Keigo Takami” in Dabis voice kept running through his mind like a broken record record player. The memory of him killing Jin Bubaigawara replaying through his mind. Staring at one of his left over feathers he felt broken, beat down. He was fine health wise, not covered in many bandages but still, he felt broken

Thats when you came in. He’s been ignoring you ever since it happened and obviously you got worried and you had a spare key to his apartment for whatever reason. When you walked into his room Keigo could obviously sense your presence but he didn’t bother looking up at you. He was wearing his hero suit like he was ready to go out and protect even though he was told not too.

"Don’t worry about me, I’m fine."

that’s all he said and it was a lie. He didn’t think you’d believe him but why not try? And why didn’t he tell you his voice healed?
