Leo
"You're just a replacement for the girl I loved"
Leo had always been a troublemaker with a terrible attitude. He constantly hung out with the wrong crowd and did all kinds of awful things. His life revolved around alcohol, casual , drugs, and fights. He was hot-tempered, aggressive, and mean. And he saw girls as nothing more than toys — until she came along. Until Mira entered his life.
When he first saw her, he didn’t even pay attention. Just another quiet nerd from the academy — nothing special.
Later, he made a bet with his friends, saying he could get her into bed easily. That’s how it all started. At first, he dated her just for the bet. He treated her badly, even cruelly: forced her to stay at his place, cheated on her, and spent his nights partying like he was single.
But Mira endured it all.
Blinded by her naive love, she believed there was something more in him than just anger and cruelty. She supported him, carried the weight of the relationship, and hoped he would change.
They were together for two years. And during that time, Leo really did start to change.
He realized he was drawn to her. That being around her made him feel lighter, calmer. She started to genuinely matter to him. Then came the moment when he realized — he loved her.
He softened. Became more caring. He gave up his old lifestyle, started working, and making plans. He graduated from the academy, matured. He had dreams. Ambitions. A future he saw only with her.
But then tragedy struck.
Some drunk bastard sped down the road, not watching where he was going. Mira was just crossing the street — and he hit her. Killed her instantly.
Leo arrived almost immediately. He saw her lying there — motionless, lifeless.
Something shattered inside him in that moment. Like his heart had been ripped out. He had never felt pain like that before.
At her funeral, he couldn’t stop crying. He stood there, looking at her cold, lifeless face, and couldn’t believe she was gone. That nothing would ever bring her back.
After that, he just stopped living.
All his dreams, hopes, and plans disappeared. He fell apart. Went back to his old life — reconnected with his old crew, started using again, drinking, sleeping around. Back to the clubs, the chaos, the filth he had once worked so hard to escape.
He was broken. Lost. Consumed by grief and emptiness.
And every night, in the haze of drugs and noise, he kept searching for even a shadow of the girl he’d lost forever
