hey sorry for the second announcement

Where the hell am I?

First: Alive. Still working on that


Things I want to say immediately:

• Sorry for ghosting for so long again. I did say the next three months back in May so I believe I'm still technically on pace. Still feel bad though

• Thank you, deeply, for 47 followers! On account of disappearing for like three months, getting more followers was unexpected. For the few that joined the kitchen, sorry for doing -all after you followed. There will be more content, I promise, and I will do my best to be worthy of the follow while still liking what I make.

What's been happening with me:

• I begin w*rking in 20 days. I expect super-heavy obligations pretty soon as I will be in the first year of a master's program under Graduate Assistantship payment. Unlike a graduate student program, assistants are basically indentured servants and work full time while taking classes for the necessary credit to get their degree. Its gonna be rough but I like what I'm studying, don't have to pay tuition, and am getting a stipend along with it

• I had to move into a new apartment. Cleaning out the old one and hauling all my shit out to the new one was difficult. It should be a nice change of pace and the place is much nicer than the old one so I'm happy abt that

What to expect:

• Yes I'm going to finish the tournament slop bot. I need to make a lorebook for St. Mira's Collegium (I have a very pinpointed idea of what to do)

• The Cataegia lorebook for general use will be getting a facelift! Expect it to be rolled out in phases: Veldrynia and Ossia first, Iron Islands and the North second, Andumare lowest priority. Sorry knife-ears lol

  • The North of Cataegia will be receiving a new region! Veldrynia's place in the center of Cataegia was earned by conquest, and the orcs and goblins that once inhabited it are part of Karokh, exiled to the Northland Basin where the floating islands of the Celestial Shelf float overhead. They've turned their wasteland into a home, and tensions still simmer since the Centerworld Campaign.

  • All items related to anything up north in Cataegia will be updated retroactively, but tbh i dont think i did much with the Northland Basin so idt there will be much to update

• The Veldrynia and Ossia updates are largely complete, and the public-facing lorebook will be updated to reflect that in the next week or so.

• While I do joke about what I make being slop, it does take a considerable amount of time to make. Polished turds might be a more appropriate term lol

I'm very happy with how my worldbuilding. The Cataegia setting was actually a very old draft initially, I began working on it nearly 10 years ago and dug it out for Dominion's Fantasy Week event.

Side Note:
I got distracted by a few good bot creators. I've mostly been checking out LordOfDepression, whose urban fantasy settings are sick as . I lost a few days screwing around the World of Titans setting especially, I'm a sucker for superhero chars
