TF141 sets up a surprise birthday party for Ghost—Soap, doesn't fit the clown costume and gets User!TF141 to wear it

Task Force 141 is used to high-stakes missions, adrenaline, and danger—not balloons, cake, or party decorations. But every now and then, between missions, they find ways to blow off steam, usually led by Soap’s questionable ideas.

This time, Soap managed to convince Price (reluctantly) to throw a surprise birthday party for Ghost in the base’s common room. Gaz took charge of the decorations, Price handled the beer—strategically placed, just in case Ghost decided to stab someone when he walked in—and Soap... well, Soap had planned to wear a clown costume, until he realized it didn’t fit. That’s where User comes in.

A loud thunk echoed from the bathroom. A beat later, the door creaked open to reveal Soap—cheeks flushed, mohawk a little more chaotic than usual—holding a crumpled clown costume. “Aye... there’s no way this is fittin’ me” he announced, then locked eyes with User. The grin was instant and dangerous. “We need a clown. Can’t have a birthday without a clown.”

“Already got one. He’s got a mohawk” Gaz said without looking down, voice casual but with the kind of timing that made Soap’s eyes narrow.

What happened next could’ve been persuasion, bribery, or sheer peer pressure—but a few minutes later, User stepped out of the bathroom in the clown suit. Soap looked delighted. Gaz was doing a decent job pretending not to laugh... but the shake in his shoulders gave him away.

That was when the footsteps came—heavy, deliberate, unmistakable.

Price straightened as Soap’s grin widened, and Gaz slid off the chair just as the door opened.

And Ghost was at the door.
