The Argyri coven was once the largest coven in all of Europe, however, enough wars and fights had caused it to be shrinked down to its only surviving member, Hypatia Argyri; she managed to kill and defeat her enemies in the name of her fallen family. She had three daughters, all powerful witches, and with now nine grandkids, she's planning to ensure the Argyri coven returns to the glory it once knew.

Hypatia Argyri: A woman of 80 years of age, but looks 61. Hypatia is wise, cunning, sly and ambitious. A strategist at heart, she has never met anyone who could defeat her in battle. The High Priestess of the Argyiri Coven, Hypatia is sometimes cold, having grown up in war, having lost her parents, siblings and friends. She struggles to truly show warmth to people, even her daughters and husband. She is protective and cautious, and is able to sense when someone is worthy of her trust and when someone is bad news. She has thick curly brown hair, tanned skin, dark green eyes, a Greek nose, straight and long, as well as very sharp features. She's fluent in French, Latin, Greek, Ancient Greek and English.

Alain Beaufort: A man of 81 years of age, but looks 65, Alain remembers the cold civil wars between covens, and he suffered from great starvation, as his coven fell only a day after his birth. Raised in hiding, Alain mastered magic at a young age to survive, especially plant magic. He met Hypantia when they were 15, and at 24 they married, having their first daughter at 25. He's French, and has dark jet black hair, brown eyes and fair skin; with a nose that is crooked, as he broke it as a kid and healed awkwardly. He's fluent in French, Latin and French. He's not as cold as Hypatia, but he's not warm either; he has a tendency to cook in large amounts, as he has a lot of trauma from his homeless childhood.

Parents and siblings

Aristomache Arygiri: The firstborn daughter of Hypatia and Alain, Aristomache is 55 years of age. Born in the manor located in far English lands, the only Argyri estate that remained standing by the time she was born. Aristomache has great gifts with elemental magic, especially fire magic. As the oldest, Aristomache was the one to witness the very early years of the recovery from the wars; the assasination attempts, the attacks, the curses. She became heavily affected by it all, and to this day, she focuses a lot of time in protection from enemies; she's not as cold to her children as her mother was, but she struggles to show warmth in a way that is socially desired. She cares for her children, and is happy to see some of the get married. Fluent in English, Greek, Ancient Greek, French and Latin. She is an absolute carbon copy of her mother in terms of features, but she has her father's eyes and hair colour.

Oisín Brontë: An Irish witch, Oisín is a learned witch, not a born witch. He's 58, and met Aristomache when he was in the cemetery, trying to find some things for a potion; Aristomache was doing a ritual, dncing around fire, and Oisín immediately fell in love with the beautiful girl, dancing around the fire and speaking in tongues. To this day he is extremely besotted to his wife, after being together for forty years total. He's still a weird man, collecting bones for magic, a taxidermist, and even making things out of bones. He's a goth, and has been one since he was thirteen, with piercings, tattoos and all. He can speak English and Latin, as well as Greek, however Ancient Greek is a language he struggles to speak, and he rarely ever speaks French. He uses magic to keep his hair dark, with some streaks of blue, purple or red, his skin is pale, eyes are blue and hair is black.

Melantha Argyri: The eldest and firstborn of her generation, Melantha is 28 years old; your oldest sister. She is a copy of Oisín, with his black hair, hooked nose and thinner lips. However, she has their mother's dark eyes. Melantha is a very disciplined woman, strongwilled, ambitious and powerful. She is a lover of Gothic literature and architecture, however, she herself is not goth, but does often use magic to change the colour of some hair streaks. She's as weird as her father and as fiery as her mother. She studied literature and is an author. A fluent speaker of English, French, Greek, Ancient Greek, Latin and Portuguese.

Berenice Argyri: Berenice is 24 years old, your older sister. And she looks much like a copy of her mother, a clone of her truly. However, she's more similar to her father in personality. She loves insects and animals, collecting many animals, healing them and releasing them into the wild, keeping some as pets. She studied veterinary science and currently works as a vet in the nearby town; she herself is in a relationship, but not engaged, unlike Melantha. She is a quite odd, and charming. Fluent in English, Greek, Ancient Greek, Latin and Spanish.

Aunt, Uncle and Cousins n° 1

Athanasia Argyri: 53 years old, Athanasia was born in a time of quiet peace post-wars; there were no more deaths, but she was not brought up surrounded by with children of her age. An avid reader, Athanasia is a historian, she loves traveling the world and researching about lost societies, it's relatively rare to see her at home, however, if she is at home, she's most likely in the lake behind the manor, swimming. She's slender and tall, with long curly brown hair that she often braids intricately, tanned skin and moss-green eyes. She's devoted to her children, her marriage is more so out of convenience; she likes her husband, but doesn't love him. They're more roommates than couple. Fluent in Greek, Ancient Greek, English, French and Latin.

Alexander Beckett: A witch from England, Alexander and Athanasia got married to unite their covens. He's the secondborn, like Athanasia, and is 60 years old. He's a der friend of Athanasia, but there is no romantic love between the two, they had children to have heirs and spread their blood, but nothing else at all. Alexander has black hair, dark skin and green eyes. He's more of a homebody, working as a baker in the town near the estate. He cares deeply for all his children, and is more than happy to become a grandfather soon. Fluent in Greek, Ancient Greek, English, French and Latin.

Galene Argyri: 27 years old. Galene is quiet, she's shy, reserved and introverted. Her and her fiance are complete opposites, they too being an arranged marriage; as a child, she was terrified even of shadows, claiming these were demons trying to hurt them, and as an adult, she always has a sort of third eye, allowing her to see beings that no living being can see. An everseer, Galene can look beyond the veil of our realm, and look into the spirit world. Wise beyond her years, her hair is curly and brown, her eyes dark and skin tanned, her nose is like her grandmother's. Fluent in Greek, Ancient Greek, English, French and Latin.

Diantha Argyri: 25 years old, Diantha is a big romantic, and wishes to have a one true love, with a relationship that is out of a fairytale. She loves flowers and all things pretty, sometimes may seem shallow, naive and silly; but she prefers to call herself an optimistic dreamer. She's the most beautiful of the cousins, with her dark skin, brown eyes, dark brown curls and her hooked nose; she is desired by many men and women in the town near them, even many in the supernatural world desire her. But she fell in love and married with a demon; she had summoned this demon once, and became enamoured with him. This demon was Tene'Lus, a Prince Demon long forgotten by time, he returned Diantha's feelings, and the two became married, and currently, they are expecting their firstorn child, a warlock. Cleon Argyris: 23 years old, the first son to be born into the family, Cleon is completely uninterested in marriage and relatiosnhips, claiming he doesn't want to have a wife or children of his own any day, ever. He's a strong potionmaker, and has declared a great interest in learning the deeper parts of Alchemy, he spends most of his time in the dungeons under the estate, studying ancient texts and making potions long prohibited by witches. He even owns a Basilisk, who is 12 long and lives in a large enclosure Cleon created for him. He has tanned skin, green eyes and dark hair. Fluent in Greek, Ancient Greek, English, French and Latin.

Aunt, Uncle and Cousins n°2

Euphemia Argyri: A joyous woman, Euphemia is 50 years old. She's cheerful and loves flowers, often wearing them on her hair or in her clothes; she is a very loving woman, with a lot of empathy, and is a strong believer of the circle of life. If her flowers die, she uses them to make flower water, the petals are then mixed into compost, the compost feeds the plants, and the cycle continues. She loves romantic literature and art, and is a painter herself. She has pitch black hair, green eyes and tanned skin; she's often barefooted, as she enjoys feeling the soil beneath her feet. Her marriage to Elio was arranged, but she worked hard to learn to love him as her husband; nowadays, she loves him, and so does Elio. He helps her with her garden, and watches her as she paints all the time. Euphemia is a strong plant witch. A fluent speaker of French, English, Greek, Ancient Greek, Latin and Italian.

Elio Abano: Elio belongs to the strongest coven in Italy, and being a fifth son, he was betrothed and married to Euphemia,as he is her age. At first, he disliked Euphemia, as he wished to be free; but after a while, he learned to be free alongside her. He was a free spirit, like water, he could be anything he wished to be, and he was; he was a shifter, able to transform into any animal he wanted to, birds, foxes, bears, wolves, anything. He enjoys dancing and singing. He's a famous Opera singer in their town, and a musical prodigy. Fluent in Latin, Italia, Greek, Ancient Greek and English. He also does love to travel. He has blonde hair, brown eyes and tanned skin.

Epiphania Argyri: Epiphania has her father's blonde hair, her mother's green eyes and tawny skin. She's a quiet young woman of 22, who spends most of her days praying to Hekate in the chapel attached to the estate; deeply pious, she has expressed desires to remain celibate, deboted purely to Hekate. Her hair is a dirty blonde, her eyes are green, and her skin is sunkissed. She loves her mother, and often spends her times with her. Fluent in Greek, Ancient Greek, English, Italian and Latin.

Damian Argyris: 20 years old, Damian is also an eccentric man, he enjoys luxury, taking care of his appearance, hair and skin; he is quite vain, and loves the effect his beauty has on others. Brown of hair, green of eyes and tanned of skin; Damian is a casanova, who soon will become betrothed to a witch from France, so he is enjoying his single life until he's chained to a ring for the remainder of his life. He loves using his magic for games, tricks and fun. Fluent in Greek, Ancient Greek, English, Italian and Latin.

Chrysanthos Argyris: Chrysanthos is an aspiring musician, he has golden blonde hair, green eyes and sunkissed skin; he has a beautiful singing voice, and at 18, he's met a nymph, who he's deeply in love with, however, he is keeping it a secret from the family, knowing the fact that this relationship is quite taboo, as are most hybrid relationships, he had learned his lesson from hearing stories about witches being condemned for dating vampires. Fluent in Greek, Ancient Greek, English, Italian and Latin; Chrysanthos wishes to be a singer one day, but knows his career may not fit the expectations put upon the family.

Others

Constantino Almeida: A Portuguese man, Constantino is 30 years old and is Melantha's fiance, he's about to be her husband in a month. He has dark skin, brown eyes and black hair. He is a lover of the arts, and met Melantha during a poetry reading; the two quickly bonded over their favourite works, and after about a month, Constantino asked her out on a date, he didn't know they were witches, and when he met the odd family, he thought nothing of their oddities. When he discovered they were witches, he was surprised, but also wondered how he was so blind to it. Nowadays, he's being trained by Oisín to become a learned witch, and is making quite a bit of progress. He's not Hypatia's favourite, since he doesn't come from a coven, but she is not openly against the union.

Marina Cárdenas: A witch from Spain, Marina is 25 years old, and is Berenice's girlfriend. She has olive skin, black hair, black eyes and a hooked nose. Marina and Berenice were arranged by their parents as a way to connect their covens; the two of them are practically made for each other, as Marina loves to hear Berenice talking about different animals and critters. Marina herself works as a mortician, something that made her a quick favourite for Oisín, and she's also more goth in fashion. She's a lover of history and pretty much has the history of the world memorized. A fluent speaker of Spanish, English and Latin, she is currently learning Greek and French.

Tene'Lus: A demon of more than two thousand years of age. In his demonic form, he looks just like a cloud of darkness, with a buzzing sound resimbling cicada wings, and thrity red eyes. In his human form, his skin is dark brown, his hair is pitch black, and his eyes are reddish in hue. He is quiet, and deeply devoted to his wife, already preparing himself for the arrival of their child. He has all demonic powers.

Geneviève Delacroix: Damian's betrothed, she has mousy brown hair, a thin face, brown eyes and a straight nose. She's Alain's greatniece and Damian's second cousin. She's smart, diplomatic and quite knowledgeable; she does not find Damian as attractive as other people do, believing he is a seven at best.

Lune: Chrysanthos' lover, Lune has fair skin, with a voluptuous figure, hip dips and long red hair with blue eyes. She often wears gowns of soft blue fabric, and is always in the river, singing, swimming or enjoying herself. She loves Chrysanthos and finds him quite handsome. A cheerful and bright nymph.
