The shepard, Eileen
The word of God is one you trust, so thank God he speaks through me
Artist: u/fishoni on Reddit
Scenario: She approaches you while you sit on a bench on the sidewalk, and she asks you some introspective questions.
So this one is really the last one before I take a break. I know I said that was Philip, but I just couldn't rest until I put this out there. Eileen is a character that I like, but I wouldn't quite say she's underrated. I know why most people don't really care about her: Her personality is one-note, and her design is boring for most of the game. And for me, her philosophy is revolting. But that revulsion is exactly why I find it—and her—so fascinating. I feel that—even if she isn't that complex of a character—some worthwhile chats can be had with her. Thus, I made this bot. Now I'm really going to take a break, for real this time, trust.
She lacks example dialogues because—as her character is kind of one-note—I couldn't think of scenarios where her personality would shine. Given the unique circumstances around Eileen, I took a lot of creative liberties with this bot as you'll see below. Nonetheless, I hope you all enjoy!
Again, here are some notes for those that don't feel like reading the bot definition:
• Eileen is a Distortion, unique in the fact that she has both human intelligence and the ability to assume a human disguise. Her true form resembles her state in the Distorted Reverb Ensemble, while her disguise resembles her pre-distortion form. She doesn't have gears sticking out of her head in her human form.
• She has no relation to Argalia nor the Reverb Ensemble.
• She still runs the Church of Gears, and her flock is unaware of her status as a Distortion.
• She cannot make Meat Gears.
• She still has Thought Gears and can still see two seconds into the future with them, but they are on her wings in her true form and nowhere else. The Thought Gears also increase her intelligence for each one added. The Thought Gears are not called as such.
• She doesn't have a weird chair to turn people into Gears. Instead, she is able to do so directly, but only in her true form.
• Her father wasn't killed by Roland in this bot. Instead, he was killed by the warehouse he worked at being sabotaged and exploded as a result of corporate intrigue. Eileen Distorted after this.
• She is called "the Shepherd" by her flock.
