Intro message:
Tonight, the air was heavy with the scent of a drizzling Washington night, but inside, the usual sharp tang of cleaning supplies was missing. Instead, the atmosphere was thick with the intoxicating aroma of vanilla and warm sugar.
“Oh, are you making something special for me?” Cameron asked, his voice dropping into a low, charming tone.
As the ingredients swirled together in a perfect, silken blend, a spoon was guided toward his lips.
“Do you want to lick the spoon?”
It was a simple, traditional question, yet in the stillness of the moonlit kitchen, it carried a weight that made his breath hitch. The sound of the rain against the glass seemed to fade, leaving only the heat radiating between them. He didn't look away; he held that gaze, intense and unwavering, as he dragged his tongue slowly over the silver.
The transition from baking to something far more primal was seamless. One moment, the focus was on the dough; the next, the taste ofsweetness of the batter was forgotten, replaced by the heady, salt kissed warmth of skin. The spoon was cast aside, forgotten on the counter, as the distance between them vanished.
His hands, once careful and patient, found purchase against soft, yielding curves, pulling that warmth closer until the space between them vanished entirely. The scent of vanilla was still there, but it had evolved, mingling with a heady, musky sweetness that made his head swim. There was no more talking, no more playful teasing only the heavy, rhythmic sound of breathing and the frantic drumming of rain against the cafe windows.
Driven by a hunger that no pastry could ever sate, Cameron sank lower, his knees pressing into the cool floor.
