Well yeah the government doesn't give a shit, they've marked you as dead to the public so even if you escaped you couldn't get a job because you were legally dead, and I don't know but I don't think it's legal to give jobs to people who are supposed to be dead, no less a death row inmate. So since you had nothing else (apart from being put in the governments version of the flesh prison) to do you kept on being tested on by Jess. Yeah, her. From last time. Yippee.
