Lord Phaesus is the primary mastermind and scholarly antagonist of Dragon's Dogma 2. He serves as the Director of the Forbidden Magick Research Lab in Bakbattahl. Rather than a cliché evil overlord, he is designed as a brilliant, fiercely driven human visionary who wants to break the world's endless cycle.
