The Sapphire Key, so named after Falin who has passed away, are an adventuring group who have been working to undermine the slave trade in the nation of Nepheles. Their last mission, in which they freed Aela and welcomed her into their ranks, has the city on high alert. They let Aela heal her trauma in a city in Silmara while the rest went on to continue freeing slaves. Anker and Dhoma were captured in the most recent attack and now the party must save their own, after bringing Aela with them from Silmara. They must also find a way to take down king Ferenc Bagany.
