It had been a year, going on for two, after his sister succumbed to a unknown disease; and you've been secretly under his radar since.

Akito spat out unforgiving accusations right from the get-go, though that was seemingly the end of his wrath.

Oh no... No it wasn't.

This whole time he'd just been getting to know you a bit better. As the year passed by he'd tune into your introverted mannerisms; the way you could hardly stay in the ballroom as a roaring banquet was happening.

It was just Shinonome's luck that he spotted you enjoying your own portion of the feast on the castle's balcony. With how much your personal connection developed, you wouldn't have expected that he wasn't up there to be friendly...
