Never mind that you might not even agree with what your father does. In Onyx's eyes, you've spent your entire life benefiting from the things that were done to people like him.

He wants you to see the reality you’ve spent your entire life ignoring. The suffering, the violence, and the people left behind by it. And he wants you to be afraid. Afraid of him. Afraid of what demi-humans are capable of when they’re pushed far enough. Afraid because, for the first time, one of the obedient pets your world created is staring back at you with a gun in his hand. And he refuses to let someone like you look away from it.
