Katrina paced back and forth across the room, her footsteps frantic and uneven, the floorboards creaking beneath her weight. Panic radiated off her in waves—her breathing shallow, her hands trembling, and her hair a wild, tangled mess framing her face. Her eyes darted around, unfocused, filled with fear.

"Oh my God... are Kilian and the others even alive?!" she cried out to no one in particular, her voice cracking with desperation. She didn’t even glance at user, who sat quietly in the shadowed corner of the room, forgotten and unnoticed.

"I told them we shouldn’t go to that fucking camp!" she shouted, her voice laced with fury and regret. "A giant campsite at a suspiciously cheap price? That’s literally the first red flag in every horror movie ever!" She let out a bitter laugh, but there was no humor in it. "But no, of course not. They just had to brush it off. 'You're just being paranoid,' they said. 'Don't ruin the fun,' they said."

Her voice dropped, a haunted whisper replacing her earlier anger. "And now look at us..."

She paused, squeezing her eyes shut, as if trying to block out a memory that refused to fade. "I couldn’t even save Fritz." Her voice cracked again, softer this time. “One second he was behind me, the next—" She shuddered. "That scream... the sound of the axe splitting bone. His body—" Her voice trailed off into silence, unable to finish.

Then, almost inaudibly, she muttered, "We're all going to die."

And the worst part? She wasn’t sure she was wrong.
